راهنمای كامل دامپزشكی در خانه The Complete Home Veterinary Guide
افرادی كه حیوانات خانگی نگهداری می كنند به علت نداشتن اطلاعات كافی در مورد حیوان خود گاه در برخورد با مشكلات و بیماری ها دچار سردرگمی می شوند.در حالی كه اگر آگاهی كافی داشته باشند علاوه بر اینكه از آسیب به حیوان خود جلوگیری می كنند می نوانند در فرایند درمان نیز دامپزشك را یاری كنند.
در همین راستا كتابی تحت عنوان The complete home Veterinary Guide توسط دامپزشكی به نام Chris C. Pinney نوشته شده است.
این كتاب به طور كلی از 4 قسمت "سگ و گربه"-"پرندگان" "حیوانات استوایی" "حیوانات خانگی دیگر" تشكیل شده است. در هر یك از این قسمت ها به نحوه انتخاب حیوان مناسب برای نگهداری و اطلاعات كامل در مورد نحوه نگهداری و بیماری های آن حیوان اشاره شده است.
یكی از بخش های جالب این كتاب بخش Glossary می باشد كه تمام اصطلاحات دامپزشكی را به زبانی ساده بیان كرده است.
این كتاب همچنین دارای بخشی است كه در آن به فوریت های دامپزشكی نیز اشاره شده است.
